POF is a type of shrink film, with the full name Multilayer Co-extruded Polyolefin Shrink Film.
It is manufactured using linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) as the
middle layer and co-polypropylene (PP) as the inner and outer layers.
The production process involves plasticizing and extruding the materials
through five extruders, followed by specialized techniques such as die
molding and bubble inflation.
It
is primarily used for packaging products of both regular and irregular
shapes. Known for its non-toxic and environmentally friendly properties,
high transparency, high shrinkage rate, excellent heat seal
performance, high gloss, strong toughness, tear resistance, uniform heat
shrinkage, and suitability for fully automatic high-speed packaging,
POF serves as an upgraded alternative to traditional PVC shrink films.
It is widely applied in products such as automotive supplies, plastic
products, stationery, books, electronics, circuit boards, MP3 players,
VCDs, crafts, photo frames and other wood products, toys, insecticides,
daily necessities, food, cosmetics, canned beverages, dairy products,
pharmaceuticals, cassette tapes, and video tapes.
Main Features:
High transparency and excellent gloss, clearly displaying product appearance, enhancing visual appeal, and reflecting high quality.
Large shrinkage rate,
up to 75%, with good flexibility, allowing packaging of products of any
shape. The controlled shrinkage force of the specially processed
three-layer co-extruded film meets the requirements of different product
packaging.
Excellent heat seal performance and high strength, suitable for manual, semi-automatic, and high-speed fully automatic packaging.
Superior cold resistance,
maintaining flexibility at temperatures as low as -50°C without
brittleness, ideal for storage and transportation of packaged goods in
cold environments.
Environmentally friendly and non-toxic, compliant with U.S. FDA and USDA standards, suitable for food packaging.
