On December 16, 2024, the 4th High-end Forum on Sustainable Development of Packaging and the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Packaging Machinery Professional Committee of Shanghai Packaging Technology Association were held as scheduled at Blue Palace Hotel Shanghai, No. 125 South Bole Road, Jiading District, Shanghai. The forum was co-sponsored by Shanghai Packaging Technology Association and Shanghai Packaging Machinery Professional Committee, aiming to discuss the sustainable development and breaking strategy of the packaging industry, attracting many industry experts and business representatives to participate.

At 1:30 p.m., the forum officially kicked off. The participants signed in and displayed the brand, and the atmosphere was warm. Subsequently, Qian Qixi, President of Shanghai Packaging Technology Association, delivered a speech, in which he extended a warm welcome to the guests and emphasized the importance of the packaging industry in sustainable development. Then, Hua Dechun, Deputy General Manager of Goss Graphic Systems（China）Co., Ltd., Vice President of Shanghai Packaging Technology Association, and Deputy Director of Packaging Machinery Professional Committee, also delivered a speech, sharing the company's experience and achievements in promoting the sustainable development of packaging.

In the next agenda, Guo Haixiang, Secretary-General of the Packaging Machinery Professional Committee of the Shanghai Packaging Technology Association, delivered a keynote report on "Work Summary of the Packaging Machinery Professional Committee in 2024 and Key Work Arrangements in 2025", summarizing the work achievements of the past year and looking forward to future work directions. Mao Yizan, director of the Department of Specialization, Refinement and Innovation of Shanghai SME Development Service Center, made a detailed analysis of the cultivation policies and service measures of specialization, refinement, and innovation, and provided policy guidance for the participating enterprises.

In addition, Chen Ming, Senior Project Director of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech on "swop helps packers win the future", sharing swop's experience and insights in promoting sustainable development in the packaging industry. Gao Kemin, executive vice president and secretary general of Shanghai Food Association, conducted an in-depth discussion on the "Status Quo and Trend of Automation and Intelligence in the Food Industry", providing participants with cutting-edge information and ideas in the industry.

In the roundtable session, industry experts and business representatives around the "beyond the competitive packaging industry breaking strategy" and "packaging industry in the new era of breaking and sustainable development" and other topics to carry out a heated discussion, KUKO general manager Mr. Feng Haiyun elaborated on his own insights in the packaging machinery industry at the meeting, especially detailed sharing of the successful experience in the sleeve shrinking machine, which was strongly recognized by the industry experts and business representatives at the meeting, and triggered a heated discussion. The communication session also gave participants the opportunity to communicate face-to-face with industry experts and jointly discuss the future trends of industry development.
